Te Korowai Aroha o Aotearoa is a Pu Wananga (Indigenous Qualifications Authority) committed to assisting whänau, hapu and iwi in the protection and validation of their knowledge and belief systems, values and practices.
Over the last 16 years Te Korowai Aroha o Aotearoa has established Te Manatu Mâori Tuku Tohu (Indigenous Qualifications Framework). Te Korowai Aroha o Aotearoa has devised principles of learning and teaching for this Framework that are appropriate to Mâori.
These principles highlight the values of:
- Whakapapa
- Kaupapa
- Tikanga, and

Mana Motuhake
